During his first tour of 100 missions, Col. Stokes flew F4C and F4D Phantom jets flying predominantly bombing missions. Col. Stokes returned to Vietnam after his initial mandatory 100 missions flying refueling tankers. Thankfully, Col. Stokes, in his own words, made it through “without a scratch.” We are thankful to Col. Stokes and all those who served in Vietnam and all other foreign wars for their service. Thanks for your time with us Col. Stokes and come back anytime !
