Hi All –

December 5 was the date of the 2009 CRCM Awards Banquet, and once again it was held at the Max McGraw Wildlife Foundation and was hosted by Bob Roggeveen and his wife Chris.

There was about a 25% increase in attendance from 2008. From all accounts, all those who attended had a great time. Again the food and facility were firstclass, and the evening went by all too quickly.

Thanks to Bob and Chris for doing such an outstanding job hosting this event for the past two years.

It is mid-December at the writing of this column. Although the temperature has dropped well below normal at times, and there already has been an appreciable snowfall, there nevertheless have been quite a few hearty souls still flying on Sundays. For others, it is time to work on those new flying machines that will make their debut in 2010.

It’s hard to believe that 2009 is nearly history and that 2010 is almost upon us. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all members, and their families, Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah, Season’s Greetings, and best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010.

Until next year
