August Meeting Minutes

I. Announcements:

1.  Club dues – $35.

2.  AMA/FAA Licenses.

3.  Harper College Training Day was a success; $200 donation received from Harper College.

4.  Fun Fly #4 will be August 4th, 9 am. Timed Fly Event.

5.  Club Picnic – August 11th – Event will not have a permit.

• Big Bird 9am – 11am

• Picnic Starts at 11:00am; Food at 11:30am

• Current Headcount – 52

6.  Float Fly – Saturday, Aug. 24th – ALL

7.  No Forest Preserve Updates regarding field. 

II. Minutes for July 7th Meeting read by President Marcellino and accepted.

III. Treasurer’s Report (Kevin Peterson, Treasurer)

New Business: Brian D. brought up some safety concerns:

1. Recommended a new first aid kit kept in impound station.

2. Recommended a fire extinguisher be kept in impound station.

Club voted and agreed to provide both of the above items.
