Meeting Report for June 3rd, 2022
Meeting opened 7:30 pm – President Marcellino presiding.

Announcements:
1. Harper College Training Day was May 14th, Spring Session. $200 Donation was given to the Club.
2. Fun Fly #1 was May 15th, Results: 1. Marcellino, 2. Brian Nowak, 3. Kevin Peterson.
3. Night Fly #1 was May 28th, Great success. Thanks to Rick B. for organizing.
4. Fun Fly #2 will be June 5th, 9:00 am – Climb/Glide & Timed Fly
5. Float Fly #1 will be June 18th, 9:00 am. Located at Midlothian Reservoir.
6. Night Fly #2 will be June 25th, 6:00 pm at NIPSTA in Glenview, IL.
7. Fun Fly #3 will be July 10th, 9:00 am. Brian DeFilippo will be Event Coordinator.
8. Club Banquet organizer will be Secretary Mike Celli.
9. George Schubkegel announced he will be moving to Michigan in June and therefore will no longer be a Club member. The Club expressed it’s thankfulness to George for his membership in the club, dedication to the hobby, friendliness and willingness to volunteer to help with the Club Swap-n-Shop, Club Banquet and other events. You will be greatly missed George and the Club wishes you great success in this next chapter of your life. Thanks George !
10. Reminder: Club Dues $35.
Minutes of May 6th meeting: Read by Mike Celli and accepted.
Treasury Report: Given by Treasurer Kevin Peterson and accepted ($7,868.93 Total).

Committee Reports: None.
Old Business: Al Brose no longer has any nitro fuel left.
New Business: 1. Brian D. is investigating Entertainment options for the meetings and will keep the Club posted, 2. Brian D. proposed a Club Baseball game day or Oshkosh trip. Marcellino will send out a survey to gauge Club interest.
Tips and Tricks: 1. Marcellino demonstrated “Twist Tail” zip ties. No cutting tools required, 2. Brian D. demonstrated his self-priming pump for his boat ESC.
Model of the Month:
Marcellino: Showed the Club his new 120 mm Phoenix ThunderStreak ducted fan jet.
Raffle: Held by Jim Collins; 1) Bob Carroll won the $50.00 cash, 2) Tyler won the Foam Airplane donated by Jim Collins.
