1. Membership / AMA dues are due.
2. Harper College Training Day was Oct. 4th. Training went well, 14 flyers, no planes lost.
3. Golf Outing was Oct. 5th – There were (4) Foursomes, Great time for all.

4. Float Fly-McHenry, November 7th, Brian D. attended. Was a good time.
5. Annual Club Awards Banquet, November 15th

Moretti’s is charging $50/person (up from last year).

6. Forest Preserve Construction Update – Brian D. and Secretary Mike C. will continue communications with the Forest Preserve in the 2026 season.
7. Al Brose mentioned a Food Drive Event at Tri-Village Club on 12/14. Food is collected and donated to food pantries. Chili is served for those giving.
8. Ray Tinley is donating a Snowmobile Suite (Medium 38-40) for winter flying. Contact Ray if interested int the suit.

VI. Committee Reports

1. Brian D. Discussed the replacement of the impound station with a new impound station. Brian suggested utilizing an AMA Program that will pay up to 25% of the total cost of the new structure. This endeavor will require more discussion with the Club as we move forward.

2. Joe S. inquired about the date for the CRCM Swap-N-Shop. It was decided to have the Swap on April 18th of 2026. An Ad will be placed in AMA magazine 2 or 3 months before the Swap takes place.

1. Pat D. and Ken volunteered to be Contest Directors (CD’s) for all of the 2026 flying season. Many thanks to Pat and Ken for stepping up and helping the Club with this important work.

2. Pat. D. brought directions for ordering from “planecrazystuff.com” that Secretary Mike C. will add to the CRCM Website. CRCM will be given 7% of all purchases made by the Club. Thanks Pat!

3. Brian D. made a suggestion to offer a Club scholarship for the CRCM Awards Banquet to allow a normally non-attending member to be able to attend the Banquet. The scholarship would be an incentive to participate. This suggestion will require more discussion with the Members prior to approving.

4. Brian D. inquired about Club stickers for airplanes. Kevin P. stated he would bring some to the next meeting.

3. Al Brose gave a history of his beginnings in the aeromodeling hobby.

Al began aeromodeling with u-control speed planes from the early 1950’s at Lane Tech High School in Chicago.
