Meeting Report for November 6th, 2020
Meeting opened 7:30 pm – President Marcellino presiding
Attendance: (18) members & (1) guests
Announcements:
1. Reminder to pay Club and AMA membership dues.
2. Ray Donati is in process of following up with Commissioner regarding field upgrade. Ray will keep Club posted.
3. President Marcellino is in contact with the Forest Preserve as well and submitting forms to get on the annual budget for field improvements. Marcellino will keep the club posted.
4. Club Banquet is cancelled for 2020 due to ongoing concerns with the COVID-19 virus. Plans are in the works for 2021 thanks to Dana Berry.
5. Club Swap-N-Shop is cancelled for 2020 due to ongoing concerns with COVID-19 virus.
6. Fun Fly Results were announced and cash prizes were distributed. Great job all who participated !
7. Club officers were voted on by the attending membership. Last year’s club officers were unanimously elected to remain in their roles for 2021. President: Marcellino Bomicino, Vice President: Jim Collins, Treasurer: Kevin Peterson, Secretary: Mike Celli, Safety Officer: Rick Bekielewski.
Minutes of March 6th meeting: Read by Mike Celli and accepted.
Treasury Report: Given by Treasurer Kevin Peterson and accepted (Total: $7,366.13)
Guests: One guest was present, Rob, getting back into the hobby. Rob is into planes and helicopters. Welcome to the Club Rob !!

Old Business: None.
New Business: There was some discussion about fastening remembrance plaques at the impound structure for past members who are deceased. Discussion will continue regarding this idea and the parameters for placing a plaque for someone.

Raffle: Jim Collins conducted; Kevin Peterson won the large cash prize.
