CRCM Membership Meeting – 6-5-2026

I. Open Meeting – 7:30 pm @ Pilot Pete’s, Schaumburg, IL

1. Call to order – President Marcellino Bomicino

   2. Fun Fly #2, May 3rd – Thanks Pat/Ken for Organizing!
   3. Harper College Training Day – 13 Students turned out for event. $200 Donation to the Club.
   4. Gun Range Event May 17th – Thanks to Greg Ross for organizing!
   5. Night Fly’s Confirmed: 5/30, 6/27, 7/25 & 8/29
   6. Fun Fly #3 is June 7th – Pat/Ken orgnanizing. 9:00 am at the field.

VII. New Business – Bob K. stated that there is a serious tick infestation at the Forest Preserve and for all members to check themselves thourougly after going in the tall grass or in the tree areas.

VIII. Entertainment – None.

IX. Tips & Tricks:

1. Marcellino: Use Q-Tip head threads and mix into glue for very strong reinforcing bonds. Also can use Balsa dust and Micro balloons.
2. Brian T.: Brian is 3D printing battery connector caps for XT connectors; GREEN for charged adn RED for discharged. Brian is planning to make these in various XT sizes and make available to members.

X. Model of the Month: Pat D. – Showed members his E-Flite SE5A Bi-Plane.
