Meeting called to order: 7:40 P.M.
In attendance: 34 members
Minutes of October meeting: Read and accepted
Treasurers Report: Read and accepted

FRED NOWAK:
Brian Nowak reported that Fred is doing very well after his heart problem and thanked all who sent cards and expressed concern for Fred.

HARVEY SHAPPS:
Al Brose reported that Harvey is now in re-hab and is making progress. He is much better than the last time Al saw him, but he still has a way to go.

CRCM Swap-N-Shop:
George Schubkegel thanked all who helped set up tables and chairs for the event. As of today he had 52 tables sold which is about the maximum for the space available. He asked for any donations that could be used for the raffle since most manufacturers don’t contribute like they used to.

BANQUET:
Chairman Bob Roggeveen went over the annual banquet details and urged anyone who needs food other than what is on the menu, to let him know in advance and he would try to accommodate them

CRCM Web Site:
Steve Fortman is working toward making our web-site much more user friendly and more useful to members and visitors alike. He plans to have things like forms for downloading, articles from other hobby web-sites and a member’s only section that could be used by CRCM members. Progress has been slow due to his own business commitment, but he hopes to have it up and running in its new form by the first of the year.

HELICOPTER RIDE:
Al Brose described a neat birthday gift he received from his family, a helicopter ride with instructions at the Schaumburg Airport. He said it was a great experience and he was allowed to fly it for about 15 minutes. He has gained a lot of respect for heli pilots- it is much harder than it looks. It takes about 10 hours of instruction just to learn how to make it hover.

HOBBY SHOW IN ROSEMONT:
Al Brose was in charge of the Make & Take part of the show and gave us a brief description of what the show has become. He said it has turned into more of a hobby show with hardly any emphasis on R/C airplanes. It now consists of mostly helicopter, electrics and cars.
